Les Bailey is an accomplished adviser with more than 35 years’ experience supporting leadership teams across technology, consulting, outsourcing, and professional services sectors in the UK and internationally.

 

Les offers an impartial and strategic perspective, specialising in commercial transformation, governance, and market expansion. Highly effective with C-level executives, he is recognised for analytical rigour, diplomatic skill, and a consistent commitment to ethical leadership and the highest standards of integrity.​

​Les’s career is anchored by senior roles in global sales transformation, consultancy, and strategic leadership for growth-focused organisations. He has advised revenue leaders across more than a dozen international firms, spanning outsourcing, technology, and regulated services.

His work is distinguished by actionable recommendations drawn from sound commercial analysis, robust stakeholder engagement, and an ability to synthesise complex challenges. His advisory approach is rooted in fact-based analysis, transparent communication, and a deep understanding of oversight versus management. Les has supported clients through periods of structural change, and fostered a culture of continuous improvement and innovation at the organisational level.

In addition to advising organisation on their growth ambitions, Les has also led a local Parish Council and supported a number of charities. Outside of work, he enjoys tennis, cooking and travel.

Les is currently a Joint Managing Partner of The Sales Coach Network, which was recently accredited by the Institute Of Sales Professionals.​ He is committed to ongoing professional growth, maintains active involvement in specialist advisory networks, contributes regularly to industry thought leadership on governance and commercial innovation.​

Over the past decade, Les has played an advisory role with several FTSE and international organisations, including assignments as a consultant, adviser, and external review panel member for complex transformation projects.

His experience spans annual advisory mandates with the innovation hub of a global consulting firm, where he contributes strategic insight for commercialisation and market access initiatives, and provides structured advice on governance and performance monitoring.

He also acts as commercial and pricing adviser to a PE-backed healthcare group, supporting international market expansion and advising executive teams on governance, AI pricing strategy, and commercial excellence. 

With a Chicago-based commercial bank, Les has contributed directly to leadership teams over eight years, guiding sustained YOY growth through process review, client-centricity, and commercial best practices.
